Keeping Variety in Your Meals

One of the pitfalls of eating easy to fix healthy meals every day is getting into a rut of having the same foods quite often. Ingredients:

Dressing:

A quarter cup of olive oil

2 tablespoons of white vinegar

A tablespoon of honey

A minced garlic clove

A teaspoon of spicy brown mustard

Salad:

A pound of shredded, fresh Brussels sprouts

Half a cup of dried cranberries

Half a cup of toasted, slivered almonds

Half a cup of Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:

Put the oil, vinegar, honey, garlic and mustard into a small bowl and whisk until well blended and smooth.

Put the shredded Brussels sprouts, cranberries, almonds and cheese into a bowl and mix together. Pour dressing over the mixture and toss until well coated.

As you can see, this is not your ordinary slaw. It is different, tasty and packed with nutrients. With this recipe and many others you find, you won’t have to eat the same boring vegetables all the time.
