Well, we made it to Spring and that means warmer weather and less clothes! Yayy!
If you are ready to stop hibernating and shed your winter coat here are a few tips to get you started.

Focus on eating real foods. Start to remove processed foods out of your diet and focus on eating meals filled with vegetables, lean proteins and clean carbohydrates like sweet potatoes and quinoa.

Increase your protein. We tend under eat the amount of protein we need to be lean. Focus on eating lean protein like chicken, turkey, salmon at every meal. Protein is important because it helps to keep you fuller longer, therefore decreasing hunger and cravings. Also, the breakdown of protein requires more energy from the body, so we will increase caloric burn and regulate blood sugar creating a fat burning environment.

Do high intensity exercise. In order to help burn fat you want to do high intensity exercise at least 3 times a week. High intensity exercise is more efficient and helps to burn more fat not only during your workouts but also after.
