Try this awesome protein apple cinnamon bars recipe!! You won’t even know you are eating healthy it’s that delicious! Enjoy 🙂
Ingredients (10 serving = 10 bars)
– 3 apples (340 g)
– 340 g Greek yogurt (fage 0%)
– 3 eggs
– Cinnamon
– 50 g protein powder (You want to use micellar casein or something similar, you can us whey protein powder to but if you do, concentrate or a mix is better for cooking then isolate. The more pure whey (like isolate) you use the more it will dry/or even rubbery)
Directions:
– Pre-heat the oven at 180°C
– Peel and cut the apples in small cubes
– Mix the apples and the cinnamon
– Heat up a pan over medium heat, add the apples and stove/bake for a few minutes
– Take a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix
– Take a rectangular baking dish, put in a baking paper (so it also covers the sides on the inside)
– Put the mixture on the baking paper in the baking dish
– Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C
– Cut in 10 rectangular bars
– You can keep these in the fridge for about 3 days
