Post workout meals can also be broken down to be a little more specific. After our resistance training workout we want to start rebuilding and replenishing those broken down muscles. The faster we can get those necessary nutrients into our blood stream, the faster we can start rebuilding. This is why most of our supplements come in powder form… The powders dissolve in liquid and can be absorbed much faster. Also, if you are having those sugar cravings, THIS IS THE TIME TO HAVE IT. Don’t wait until night time so that the sugar can be stored as fat. Having it after your workout will help aid you in that muscle rebuilding. Do not gorge in it; however, because most sweets have fat in them as well.
