Stevia comes from a plant that, in fact, tastes much sweeter than sugar. Your body cannot use this substance as fuel, which makes it a zero calorie product. Unlike products such as Sweet N Low and Splenda, this natural substance doesn’t contain aspartame. Aspartame is a sweetener used in low calorie products; however, it is not good for you for two reasons.
1. Aspartame has been shown to BOOST your appetite; ESPECIALLY for high calorie foods and junk food.
2. Studies have proven that aspartame is directly related to certain cancers.
Our in home personal training staff recommends Truvia, which you can find in your local grocery store. If weight loss is a big issue for you, change your sugar intake to a Stevia product. It tastes great in your coffee and tea. Many places have the unsweetened teas, which you can just add your Stevia packet to. Add it to your diet and watch the fat loss come with it.
