Now that summer is approaching everyone is looking for a flat belly. Here are some simple tips to include into your daily life to reduce belly fat!

Exercise:
Without high intensity exercise to burn that layer of fat off your abdominals you will never be able to see those tight abdominals underneath.

-Burn off that layer of fat with high intensity interval cardio exercise.
-Do core stabilizing exercises like planks and hip bridges.
-Weight train using full body exercises.
-Add sprints to your workout routine.

Stress Less:
Stress causes the body to release high levels of cortisol that lead to excess belly fat. Take a few minutes each day to stress less and reduce levels of cortisol in your body.

-Go for a relaxing walk
-Laugh
-Do yoga or take take stretch
-Start a gratitude journal

Focus on diet changes

Abs are made in the kitchen and not the gym. Diet is very important in being able to see a tight midsection.

-Eat vegetables at every meal will help you to feel full and increase fiber intake.
-Drink lots of water to help feel full and de-bloat.
-Eat high quality protein at every meal to help keep that lean look.
-Include omega 3 rich foods like salmon, olive oil, avocado and nuts to get plenty of good fat that is necessary for fat oxidation.
