Cake is entirely composed of saturated and trans fats(the bad fats) and sugars. Eating protein in your meals is what speeds up your metabolism, fat slows it. Eating carbohydrates, such as sugar, without protein will store its majority as fat. Therefore, eat your cake…BUT…don’t be surprised if you wake up the next morning with extra fat in your mid section.
