I know that it is vacation season rite now, and we get into this mindset that can really mess up our progress. Remember fitness is a lifestyle, you DO NOT cheat on it. Here are some tips to help you stay on the rite track when you are on vacation.
1. Go for a Jog: Take advantage or your new beautiful environment and explore the area and scenery by going for a run on the beach or around the resort.
2.Don’t Have the “Im on Vacation” Excuse: Yes it is OK to indulge in treats and enjoy yourself but don’t overdo it. Stop eating when you have had enough, and continue to drink a lot of water throughout the days. If you have an appetizer, skip the dessert. If you skip the appetizer, share a dessert. Enjoy, but be smart and you will feel better in your bikini!
3. Walk:Instead of taking a cab or bus, walk to your destinations if possible. Walking is a nice way to exercise while exploring the local area.
4.Try an Outdoor Exercise Class: Many hotels, beaches and resorts offer yoga classes on the beach and aqua classes in the pool.
5.Pack a Workout: Bring a resistance band or pilates ring in your suitcase to sneak in a 10 or 20 minute workout in your hotel room.
