Physical Deconditioning

Do you find yourself tired, out of breath, or feeling heavy? These are all signs of physical deconditioning. When you go for weeks without using your muscles in an active manor, atrophy begins to occur aka they get smaller. The longer go on with your daily routine without exercise, the more physically deconditioned you will begin to feel. Eventually, it will reach a point that carrying the groceries inside will become a daunting task. In order to feel younger, more mobile, and energetic throughout the day you must exercise properly. You must engage your muscles regularly with high intensity so that they will not give on you in times of need.

Remember…if you don’t use them, you will lose them (at about a pound each year after age 30).
